Baxter
01|About the project
Baxter equips surgeons with clinically proven hemostats, sealants, and tissue-repair technologies used in critical moments in the OR. Through this partnership, IRCAD opened a dedicated space on WebSurg, its global surgical e-learning platform, to bring Baxter's resources directly to the surgical community.
The challenge was to embed Baxter's brand identity within the existing WebSurg interface while creating a distinct, recognisable space that supported their communication goals.
02|My process
01
Collaboration
Baxter came in with a clear design already in mind. My role was to adapt it for the web, reworking it to fit WebSurg's platform and constraints while staying true to their original vision.
02
Prototyping
I turned the design into an interactive prototype and reviewed it with the Baxter team, refining until everything matched their expectations.
03
Handoff
Once Baxter signed off, I briefed the development team and handed over the final design with detailed specifications for integration.
03|What I learned
This was my first project with the IRCAD team, and I learned a lot from it. Working within an existing platform and blending two brands taught me how to explain my design decisions, when to compromise for the user, and how to make a partnership feel natural rather than forced. It's a project I still look back on as a real turning point.
